The Joukowsky Institute congratulates Archaeology and the Ancient World doctoral candidate Samantha Lash on the publication of "Papyri from Karanis: The Granary C123", edited by W. Graham Claytor and Arthur Verhoogt, and based in part on Lash's undergraduate thesis. Her important contribution is acknowledged on the title page, as well as being credited in the Preface: "At the same time, Samantha Lash’s honors thesis was providing an archaeological analysis of granary C123 (the basis for the introduction to this volume), and her participation in the seminar brought a true archaeological voice into the discussion."
