Support Research

Support research by donating to to the Kaelyn McGregor Numismatic Research Fund.

Kaelyn McGregor, former Director of Administration for Brown University's Office of the Vice President for Research, passed away April 21, 2007 in Boston, Massachusetts.  Kaelyn was born in Anaheim, CA, on September 29, 1963. She graduated from New York University and received her Ph.D. from University College London in Archaeology. She was employed by the British Museum while in London and traveled extensively in Greece and Cyprus working on her degree. Kaelyn loved her work and the academic environment at Brown. She was known for her entertaining and was a fabulous chef.

As her friends, family, and colleagues knew, Kaelyn’s first love was numismatics — the study of ancient coins and coinage. She fostered this in her years of doctoral study at University College London, and through her work in the Department of Coins and Medals at the British Museum and for the Royal Numismatic Society.
