Rothenberg is conducting dissertation research on Montserrat, and was interviewed in Spring 2019 for this documentary about how the island's inhabitants are living after the volcano's eruption in 1995.

Miriam PhotoMiriam Rothenberg, a doctoral candidate in Archaeology and the Ancient World and a master's student in Earth, Environment and Planetary Sciences, is featured in the film, Montserrat, the Pompeii of the Caribbean. Rothenberg is conducting dissertation research on Montserrat, and was interviewed in Spring 2019 for this documentary about how the island's inhabitants are living after the volcano's eruption in 1995. Rothenberg ​is also part of the Survey and Landscape Archaeology on Montserrat (SLAM) team, a joint project of Brown University and Wayne State University.
