Grace Hermes received her B.A. in History and English, and a minor in Women and Gender Studies, summa cum laude from St. Olaf College in 2021. She completed her Master's degree in Archaeology at Cornell Institute of Archaeology and Material Studies (CIAMS) in May 2023. Grace's interests include women in the ancient world and how conceptions of gender are constructed and culturally reinforced; the body as a locus of gendered experience; anatomical votives in the 5th century healing cult of Asklepios at Corinth; relationships between the body, gender, and healing in ancient Greece; museum cataloging and curation. She has conducted fieldwork with the Antiochia ad Cragum Research Project in Gazipaşa, Turkey. She was a Visiting Scholar at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens in 2022-2023.
