Georgia Andreou received her PhD in Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on the Prehistory of the Eastern Mediterranean and her interests include:
- Archaeological survey, landscape studies, theory and methods
- Coastal archaeology, preservation, legislation
- Urbanisation, economic theory
- Trade and globalisation
- Digital archaeology design, data management, website design
Current research projects:
- Assessment, publication and digital dissemination of the Maroni Valley Archaeological Survey Project (MVASP)
- Preparation of articles regarding coastal erosion and its impact on the archaeology of the Cypriot coastline
- Publication of chapters of her PhD, entitled: “Traversing Place: Landscape and Identity in Bronze Age Cyprus”
